HUGH JACKMAN surprises Comic-Con with an appearance for REAL STEEL!

Real Steel seems to be based on the popular 60s game, the Rock 'Em Sock' Em Robots which consists of two boxers fight robots mechanically manipulating the players.

But in reality it is not.

It's more like a Transformers meets Iron Man meets Rocky films.

SYNOPSIS:

The robots have replaced human beings in boxing. Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman) loses the opportunity to become a boxing champion when robots take over, and becomes a small-time promoter. When having trouble making a living, reluctantly teams up with his son (Dakota Goyo) Max to build a robot that can fight for the championship.

Real Steel has directed and produced by Shawn Levy for the budget of $ 80 million.

Real Steel is becoming almost as much press as a summer blockbuster, but is opening October 7, 2011. Now nothing more than a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money to low-end assembly scrap against bots to get from one place to another underground boxing. When Charlie gets to the heart, reluctantly teams up with his son Max ex (Dakota Goyo) to build and form a rival in the championship. Since questions of brutality, the sand without banned show, Charlie and Max, yet, get one last chance at a comeback.

Real Steel is in theaters October 7, 2011 and stars Hugh Jackman, Dakota Goyo, Evangeline Lilly, andKevin Durand.
